Corinne de Keizer, Customer Communication Specialist, on working at Nestlé:

How did you end up at Nestlé?

"During my master’s degree in Marketing Management, I attended several recruitment activities to find out which company suited me best. In February 2017, I participated in the Nestlé in-house day, where I got a behind-the-scenes look in the firm and its brands. Later on, I had lunch with Nestlé and found out that I connected really well with the people behind Nestlé. I had no doubt to apply for the Nestlé Graduate Program, luckily I got to take part in the Nestlé Business Course, and learned that I was really motivated to work for Nestlé! After the 3-day Business Course, I was offered a place in the Progam at Nestlé!"

What are some of the challenges you experience each week?

"As a Customer Communication Specialist at Nespresso, I am responsible for all customer communications and activations regarding our campaigns. With this job come strict deadlines and many last-minute changes, for example, sometimes we need to adjust the way we implement a campaign or we need to set-up an extra project on short notice. Flexibility and adaptability are required, and makes it stressful sometimes, however, never a dull moment!"

How does Nestlé contribute to your personal growth?

"Working at Nestlé means you are given responsibility from the start. You will have a strong learning curve and you get to participate in several trainings, both in the Netherlands or in one of the other Nestlé markets. During the Nestlé Graduate Program, you will have a senior mentor assigned, who helps you with your career choices and will act as a sparring partner. The best thing about working at Nestlé is that you can create your own career and are able to learn a lot."
